Beauty Of Karkala
Our Karkala is a small town in the Udupi district of Karnataka, known for its rich history, peaceful vibes, and beautiful surroundings. It’s especially famous for the massive 42-foot statue of Lord Bahubali, carved out of a single stone way back in 1432. People from all over come to see it!
Karkala has a strong connection to Jain culture, with many ancient temples (called basadis) that show off amazing old-school architecture. But it’s not just about one religion — you’ll also find historic Hindu temples and beautiful old churches here, all living together in harmony.
Surrounded by hills and greenery, Karkala is a quiet, charming place where history, culture, and nature come together.
